YAMAHA FB01 Japan 1985

FM synthesizer

This thing was extremely cheap, like 25 euros or something...but its really great. It uses the same chip as the Yamaha DX21 but then its an 8 multitrimbal version of it (withouth the chorus sadly). Its full with (famous) presets like Chicago house / Detroit techno basses, organs, strings, synthleads etc.etc.etc. Apart from some basic stuff like portamento you can't edit it from the front but there are some software editors, mostly on old platforms like the Amiga and Atari ST.
